The RING AWARD is back! The 10th International Competition for Directing, Set and Costume Design in Music Theater is under new management by Bühnen Graz – supported by the Province of Styria, Department of Culture under Governor Christopher Drexler.

Submission Deadline: September 16, 2024
Nomination of semifinal teams: October 2024
Semifinal: January 16-18, 2025
Final: June 28 & 29, 2025

Much is new about the RING AWARD 25, from the Artistic Director and Board of Directors, to terms of submission, and additional prizes. The competition opera “L’Orfeo” by Claudio Monteverdi bridges the period from the early Baroque to the present day. Which young team will win the prestigious “RING AWARD” at the final in June 2025?
