The 10th International Competition for Directing, Set and Costume Design once again gives young artists the opportunity to have their ideas of contemporary music theater recognized internationally.
Teams, consisting of at least one stage director and one set and costume designer, have to oppotrunity to subject themselves to the critical assessment of a renowned international jury constisting of artistic directors and music theater professionals. Winners will receive the prestigious “RING AWARD”, cash and special prizes, as well as production commissions.
The competition is open to the public and accessible to teams from all countries. Eligible to participate are teams with participants from the fields of directing, set design, costume design, dramaturgy, conducting, composition, etc. who can provide evidence of relevant training or artistic experience and have not yet carried out an independent production work on a major stage.
