TEAM A
Sergei Morozov (RUS) / Aleksandra Alekseeva (RUS)


Sergej Morozov, stage direction. After graduating from RSITA — GITIS in Moscow, Sergej Morozov worked as an assistant director at the Novaya Opera Theatre. Sergej pays special attention to contemporary music in the theatre and works with different composers and performers. Sergej’s recent engagements include Nicola Porpora’s «Arianna in Nasso» at Theater an der Wien, Vienna.

Alexandra Alekseeva, stage design. Graduated from Moscow Art Theatre School, institute of scenography. Stage designer of several theatre and cinema projects in Moscow. Current major productions: “Andromache“ and “Dostoevsky FM” in Stanislavsky Electrotheatre (premiere in 2017).

TEAM B
Barbora Horáková Joly (CZ) / Cornelia Schmidt (D)

Barbora Horáková Joly, stage direction, studied vocals and subsequently took a degree in directing in Munich. She assisted at Theater Basel. Since then she has been self-employed and recently directed “Pelléas et Melisande” at the Den Norske Opera & Ballet as well as “L’Orfeo” at the Teatro Arriaga Bilbao.

Cornelia Schmidt, stage design, studied architecture and assisted in Kassel, Basle, and Frankfurt. In Basle she designed costumes for „De Rerum Natura“ and „Blood Wedding“, for which latter production she also  collaborated on the set design. Recently she designed the stage for “Vatersprache” (“Father Language”) in Frankfurt.

TEAM C
Valentin Schwarz (A) / Andrea Cozzi (I)


Valentin Schwarz, stage direction. The Austrian Valentin Schwarz (born 1989) studied Musical Theatre Direction in Vienna. Among his productions are Haydn’s “L‘Infedeltá Delusa” at Studiotheater Belvedere, “Bluebeard’s Castle”, and “Carmen” at DNT Weimar and Lehár’s “Giuditta” as prize-winning diploma project. He worked as an assistant at the opera houses of Weimar, Mannheim, and Stuttgart. Collaborations with Jossi Wieler, Karsten Wiegand, Tobias Kratzer, and Kirill Serebrennikov. 2018 he will stage Mozart’s „Così fan tutte“ with Andrea Cozzi at the Kammeroper of Theater an der Wien.

Andrea Cozzi, stage design. Born 1989 in Milan, he studied Fine Arts and Stage Design at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. He worked as a stage designer, among others, for the National Theatre of Skopje (“Digging”, 2017), Theater Regensburg („Goyescas“,„Gianni Schicchi“, 2016), Deutsches Nationaltheater Weimar (“Bluebeard’s Castle”, 2013), Halle E, Neue Oper Wien („Le Grand Macabre“, 2012), and Neue Studiobühne Wien („Giuditta“, 2011). Upcoming productions at Thalia Theater in Hamburg (2017) and Kammeroper of Theater an der Wien (2018). He lives and works in Vienna.
